Where are you located?
We have two storefronts: one in Red Bank and another in Lenoir City. Our design team is proud to serve customers throughout the greater Chattanooga and Knoxville areas, including Red Bank, Signal Mountain, Hixson, Ooltewah, Cleveland, Lenoir City, Tellico Village, Rarity Bay, and Wind River.
What are your usual hours of operation?
Both of our locations are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and we are closed on Sundays.
Is all the furniture at Mango's Decor & Company actually made of mango wood?
Many of the pieces we carry are made from sustainable mango wood that is sourced from India. Mango wood is known for its unique grain and excellent durability. However, we are also proud to carry a variety of other options made from high-quality materials and many American-made upholstered pieces.
What is your “trial period” for furniture?
We offer a unique approval period for our customers — you can try out your furniture for 24 hours, which gives you plenty of time to see how it looks in your home before you make a final commitment. If you don’t love it, simply return it within the 24-hour period after your original purchase.
Do you provide delivery services?
Yes, we offer professional delivery for our furniture items. Simply contact the nearest showroom to get rates based on your location.
Can I purchase items directly from the showroom?
Absolutely! While we do also offer custom ordering, many of the pieces that are in our 7,000 square-foot showrooms are available for immediate purchase. This means you get amazing furniture without the weeks-long wait.
Am I able to customize the fabric options on upholstered pieces like sofas and chairs?
Yes, we have hundreds of fabric options for you to choose from, so you can customize your sofa, sectional, or accent chair to perfectly match your home’s color palette.
How is “real wood” furniture different from “manufactured wood”?
Real hardwood is significantly more durable, repairable, and long-lasting, much more so than manufactured wood. Our mango wood and other real wood pieces add authentic character to your space and hold their value over time, whereas manufactured pieces made from particle board or MDF often lose value over time.
Does quality furniture have to be expensive?
Buying high-quality, real-wood furniture may require a larger initial investment, but it actually costs less over time. Solid wood offers superior structural integrity and a natural grain that can be restored for generations, making it a more durable and authentic investment for your home.
Are any of your products American-made?
Yes, we have plenty of high-quality, American-made upholstered pieces. Prioritizing American-made furniture allows us to better control the quality and also improve turnaround times for custom-ordered sofas and chairs.
How do I care for mango wood furniture?
Mango wood is very easy to maintain — we recommend using a soft, dry dusting cloth to clean the surface and avoiding harsh chemicals. Using coasters for drinks and keeping the pieces out of direct, prolonged sunlight will also help keep the natural grain beautiful.
Do you do custom orders?
Yes! We offer special orders for those who see a brand or style they love in our showroom, but who want a different size or finish. Our friendly team can help you place a direct order with our trusted manufacturers.
Can I find furniture for every room in my home at your showroom?
Yes, our inventory includes dining sets, bedroom furniture such as nightstands and bed frames, living room essentials like sofas, coffee tables, and accent chairs, and plenty of unique accent furniture for areas like entryways and offices.
How do the design services you offer work?
Our team provides both in-store and in-home design consultations, and we’re prepared to help you with everything from finding the perfect finishing piece for an area to furnishing entire rooms in your home.
Is there a fee for your design services?
In-store advice is complimentary, but if you want more extensive in-home sessions, we can discuss your needs and schedule a consultation service. In-home services rates are dependent on the extent of your needs, so contact us to start discussing your project goals.
Do you offer design services to help me arrange pieces I already own?
Absolutely. Our designers can help with space planning and are more than happy to visit your home and help you arrange your current pieces, as well as suggest new accents to enhance the look and flow of your space.
What can I do to prepare for a design consultation?
It is helpful to come prepared with rough measurements of your space if you are doing an in-store consultation. For all our design services, we highly suggest coming with inspiration photos of styles you like, which helps us create a starting point for achieving your vision.
Do you offer lighting solutions?
Yes, we have a wide range of lamps and light fixtures and can help you choose something that fits with your home aesthetic.
What other home accents or décor do you carry?
We have a diverse selection of wall art, mirrors, rugs, doormats, decorative pillows, vases, baskets, and tabletop décor. Our team can help you find the perfect “finishing touches” for your home.
